6. The Light Between Oceans

I love Derek Cianfrance‘s first film Blue Valentine, even if it is an extremely tough watch. I was not as hot on his follow-up The Place Beyond the Pines, but he still has a lot to offer us as a director. So, I have high hopes for The Light Between Oceans, and the case he’s assembled only makes me salivate with excitement. Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, and Rachel Weisz are all in the same movie? I’d go see that if McG was directing it. Thankfully, it’s a real director.

The Light Between Oceans will be released Fall/Winter 2016.
