7. The Nice Guys

Shane Black is the undisputed king of buddy movies. Lucky for us, the man behind Lethal Weapon and Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang has another buddy film to delight in. His buddies this time: Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling. Crowe is in desperate need of having some levity in his career, and if the trailer is any indication, he and Gosling have terrific chemistry. Black went ahead and made a good paycheck with Iron Man 3, but The Nice Guys is the kind of movie where he shines. How could you not be excited for that?

The Nice Guys will be released May 20, 2016.
